Looking Glass games were always a window into the future of gaming and Terra Nova was no different it is worth playing not only as an important milestone in gaming history but also because it is insanely fun. Its live-action cutscenes are amateurish but nonetheless entertaining. A well-realized setting and its mix of strategy, stealth and action (here too TN:SFC was ahead of its time) made for challenging and thrilling game-play. Even at its low-resolution, it still holds up fairly well today. Criminally overlooked on release (in part due to Looking Glass's poor marketing, but more due to the simultaneous release of Mechwarrior 2), it was technologically ahead of most games of the time, and included features - such as real-time reflections on water - that wouldn't be matched by other FPS games for close to a decade. Unhide.Īnother great classic that GOG needs to add to its inventory. You can't invite this user because you have blocked him. You can't chat with this user because you have blocked him.
